Preview:SmackDown vs. Raw WWE Bragging Rights Tag Match
Just as the name of the first-ever WWE Bragging Rights implies, the Superstars of Friday Night SmackDown and Monday Night Raw will meet in a massive tag team confrontation designed to determine brand supremacy.
After being introduced by Monday Night Raw special guest host Nancy O’Dell, Triple H announced that he had set up five qualifying matches to determine who he and co-captain Shawn Michaels would unite with at this unprecedented event.
Raw can definitely say it has plenty to brag about after Monday night’s results as four of the show’s most electrifying Superstars joined DX, with the final team member to be determined on Thursday when Mark Henry squares off against Chris Masters on "WWE Superstars":
Triple H
Shawn Michaels
Big Show
Cody Rhodes
Jack Swagger
Kofi Kingston
Although it won’t be easy to assemble a squad that matches Raw’s, SmackDown team captain, WWE Unified Tag Team Champion Chris Jericho will attempt to amass a team on this Friday’s SmackDown that he expects to step up to the challenge.
Offering the opportunity of a lifetime for The WWE Universe to see their favorite members of the blue and red brands' rosters cross paths, this innovative multi-Superstar encounter is sure to make history in Pittsburgh's Mellon Arena.
Be sure to catch this inaugural event on Oct. 25 at 8/7 CT, live and only on pay-per-view.
